Associate Professor Katrina Anderson

Associate Professor Katrina Anderson is Deputy Chair of CPMEC.  She is a general practitioner who has experience across all levels of generalist training both urban and rural. She currently has leadership roles with medical student teaching at the Australian National University Medical School, and Medical Education Adviser for Canberra Region Medical Education Council (CRMEC).

She is also involved in junior doctor education across the ACT and SENSW region and has a special interest in supervisor education as well as prevocational GP placements for junior doctors.

Assoc. Professor Anderson was the inaugural Chair of the CRMEC in 2014 when it was established. A restructure of the CRMEC, effective from the beginning of 2022, expanded its senior leadership with Katrina taking up the role of Medical Education Advisor and continuing to represent CRMEC on the CPMEC Board.
